We are delighted to be able to invite you to join us for a virtual winter wine-tasting.
Friday 22nd January
6pm in Zoom.
Tickets £60/household (includes a shipment of 3 bottles of wine)
(Regrettably, this event is only open to residents in the UK as we are unable to ship the wine abroad.)
How it works:
You will need to sign up to the event using the form below. We will then send you an invoice for the event that can be paid via card or BACS. In the New Year, each signup will receive by courier a package containing three very special Sicilian and Southern Italian wines. In the days before the wine-tasting we will also email you a suggestion of some receipes you may like to try to go with your wines.
During the wine tasting, you will be lead by our very own Italian wine and food specialist Lara Piccioli who will guide us through the tasting. She will also explain her recipe choices and suggest foods that go well with the selected wines. There will, of course, be an opportunity to ask questions and make comments.
We have just 50 shipments of wine available for the event, so if you would like to join us, please don’t leave signing up until too late! Places will be allocated strictly in the order we receive signups.
The cost of the event is £60 per household (ie one shipment of wine).

Our wine list:
2019 Baglio Gibellina, Sogno del Sud Organic Grillo, IGT (Sicily)
A delightful white wine – straw yellow in colour. An intense but pleasant nose with notes of exotic fruit and spice. Fresh and soft on the palate, well balanced with a persistent finish.
2019 Baglio Gibellina, Sogno del Sud Organic Nero d’Avola, DOC (Sicily)
Deep ruby-red and violet flecks. Intense nose of pomegranate and wild strawberries and hints of red berry fruits. Soft and velvety, full bodied with smooth and sweet tannins.
2019 Tenute Rubino, Primitivo, Salento Rosso, IGT (Puglia)
A wine that perfectly expresses this varietal. Plum, blackberry and ripe cherry aromas, with a round taste and smooth tannins. Velvety soft tannins and a full structure.
