The whole holiday was extremely well planned and executed. Everything was done to consider and help the Guests. Our Guide, Irene, could not have been better informed on the history of Sicily and, importantly, she made it entertaining when on the re-telling! It was lovely to meet her Family too. She could not have done more to make our holiday enjoyable – she was superb. Also it was delightful to travel off the beaten tracks for lunch at Agriturismo restaurants where we sampled fresh local food. Our driver, Carmelo, was an absolute star throughout and especially taking on some of the tortuous roads for our special lunches, and sometimes spectacular, lunch stops. He also looked after us especially well, sweets, water bottles top ups and an umbrella each when it rained for 10 minutes. He kept the minibus as clean as the day it left the showroom.
