About our Environmental work
Why not join us on one of our day walks in the UK throughout the summer?
The provisional programme is given below but we are open to your suggestions for alternatives or rearranging dates. If we see that a proposed walk is not attracting interest, we may substitute it with a something different. Once we have confirmed a walk/date however, you can be sure that it will go ahead.
This year, we are proposing a participation fee of £10/peron/day to cover our organisation costs. But this will also cover some refreshment at the end of the walk.
To sign up to one of the walks, or to make a suggestion/comment, please use the form below.

On the two-day walks, you can either join both days or just one of the days. If you join both days, you will be responsible for arranging your lodging for the interim overnight, however, we will provide suggestions.
When signing up to the walks, you declare yourself to be fit enough to cover the distance of the walk. Regrettably, we cannot be held responsible if you are not able to complete the walk.
Getting to the start of the walk
You will be responsible for your transport to the start and from the end of the walk. Many of the walks (and nearly all those in the South East) can be reached via public transport and we will be happy to give suggestions. In the table above, we have indicated whether the walk is circular or linear. In the case of the linear walks, there is the possibility to resturn to the starting point via public transport.
How to sign up:
- To sign up to one or more of the walks, just use the form below indicating
- name and date of the walk you wish to book for
- the number of participants you wish to book for
- We will then confirm your places by return.
What to bring?
Bring a packed lunch and enough water for the day. And being England, you will want to bring a waterproof.
If you have a suggestion for a walk, please just get in touch!
